Here is a little about us and the author, Me. My name is Virginia Hoffman. We all know life happens, and even if we have an idea of what’s going to happen it is still a shock. Even though it wasn’t the first time, but back in December 2018 right before Christmas, I found myself furloughed from my job. Several years ago a Law was put in place that guaranteed all of us on-the-ground Federal employees would receive back pay once the furlough ends. However, I knew that wasn’t going to happen until a budget was aproved and the Public Law was enacted and we were called back to work. From past experience, I knew furloughs could last for a few hours, a few days, a few weeks or a few months. The length of time all depended on Congress and the President agreeing on and approving a budget.
Filing for unemployment was always an option to help tide things over. And, it was okay that I would have to pay the money back once I received back pay. However, this also meant I had to search for a job. But, I needed to be available to go back to work the moment the budget was signed. What employer is going to hire someone, spend time and money to train them, all the while knowing they could be gone tomorrow or sooner?!
I decided to search online for a possible solution. Something I could do from home that gave me the flexibility I needed. I came across this opportunity. It is a proven system sucessfully used by many across the country and around the world. With training, it is easily duplicatable and it can be done by anyone from anywhere. With little to no computer expertise. Even though the furlough ended and I was called back to work shortly after I started this amazing opportuity, I liked it so much I decided to stick with it even after going back to work. And, almost 7 years later, I’m still here. Furthermore, I have now retired from that job and I’m doing this fulltime again.
