Fabulous Food and Wine Pairings

Spicy Chili & Mexican Cornbread

Spicy Chili, cold weather, and football (or at least the Superbowl)!!! Can we say Touchdown!!! I’m not all that fond of cold weather. Thankfully, I live in an area of Idaho that has relatively mild winters. A few days of zero or below and minimal snow. Also, I’m not a big football fan; but, I do watch the Superbowl…for the commercials, of course. In spite of all that, I do love a spicy chili. Pair it with your favorite cornbread recipe and achieve perfection!!! Cook it in a slow cooker and achieve even greater perfection!!! Go Here to see what Fine Wine pairs perfectly with this chili!!!

Shrimp Boil Foil Packet Recipe ~ A Quick, Easy Delicious Meal Ready in Minutes!!!

A Shrimp Boil Foil Packet Recipe ~ a healthy, nutritious meal ready in minutes. In the perfect world, I would always have an hour or more to cook a well-balanced dinner for my family. I would serve it on the patio or deck and the weather would be perfect. Clear blue skies, maybe 75 or 80 degrees with a light breeze. Perhaps at the formal dining table watching the snow fall outside. Furthermore, no matter which situation, everyone would lick their plate clean. However, most of the time, there are a million little things going on and it’s hard to find time to toss a frozen meal into the microwave oven!!! Check out the perfect wine pairing here!!!

Charcuterie for Two (building a date night charcuterie board)

Charcuterie for Two (building a date night charcuterie board) Looking for a delicious treat that will be a pleasure for all your senses, including your sense of adventure? I’ve got a perfect idea. Charcuterie for two can be colorful and artfully presented. A charcuterie board is best when it includes a variety of textures, flavors, and aromatic ingredients. And the crisp snap of a homemade cracker and the oohs, ahhs and mmmms from your lucky partner will be music to your ears (of course, so would the pop of a cork from a bottle of bubbles to go with it!).
